The top display cabinet has two glazed doors that open to a full depth shelf and a half depth shelf. There is a good size work surface space, followed by two small drawers, each with a small white porcelain knob, and a double door cupboard with a single shelf inside. There are 4 deep food drawers running vertically down the left-hand side, and a single door cupboard, with the original metal vent, on the right. There are three full width drawers, each with their small original wooden knobs and key escutcheons. Each drawer is sliding smoothly. The chest has a wavy edge top and some nice detail to the sides, making this a very attractive looking piece. It is stood on slender raised feet.
