A large portable piece of furniture, with three stacking cupboard's, known as a "Campaign cupboard", or "Deed safe". Dating from the turn of the century, in good condition for its age, recently stripped to a clean and tidy bare wood.
These portable cupboards were used in the military - the idea is to be able to grab each cupboard and take to safety when needed, maybe in the case of fire or flood.

Each cupboard still has the original carrying handles either end, the door lock, and door hinges - all in good working order. The attractive (french style) external hinges allows the doors to open fully, and inside each cupboard is a single shelf.

A rare and interesting piece of furniture not often found complete, ideal for properties with limited access eg flats, apartments, narrow / difficult doorways.

Can be bought in the bare wood, as pictured here, for £1200. Price including waxing is £1297.
